New Club Treasurer required

Guys,
Sadly Garry is having to hang up his Bean Counting hat, at least for BRGA, as he has a new job now.

Hence the position for Club Treasurer is vacant and MUST be filled.

Do any of you have any financial qualifications? This is not essential, but helps.

The Treasurer's main responsibilities are to:

a) perform annual accounts;
b) act as guarantor, together with Club Leader (me) and Membership Secretary (Mike Ragless) in case the club ever went financially into administration (But of course we'd close the club before that happened).
c) act as a joint Signatory for BRGA's Treasurers Trust Account, and also the Thrudball Treasurers Trust Account.

Ideally I MUST fill this position before 1/2, as that is when both Garry and Mike are able to visit the Bank on a Saturday to switch over the Signatures on the Treasurers Trust Accounts.

P.S. Garry will still be a BRGAN, is still going to do tournaments wearing his BRGA Shirt with pride, and is still up for the Lutece Cup...

Following club last night, Alex Nightingale AKA Mongoose might step into the Club Treasurer role, he's going to have a think about it...

I've also texted Raggie to see if he minds Ryan Hodgetts AKA RemoteRyan taking over as Membership Secretary, seeing as Mike's recently taken on Management Training, and also considering his work hours, locality to the Newtown and lack of transport - we hardly ever see him at present.

Ryan has often helped me take the club fees and is considering the role if Mike steps down, as I believe he probably will.

I hope I speak for all BRGANs when I say these two chaps are trustworthy and (mostly  ) approachable, and would be great assets to the Club.
