Eldar WIP

Hi all, am hoping to bring the might of the pointy eared ones to a table top near you soon ;-) here are some WIP shots of the army so far, its small...but perfectly formed

I really like them, what sort of lay out are you going for? a fast attack army? I love the look of eldar but have not really seen them play since 2nd edition lol I think (1992-3?)

I could imagine they are similar to the tau with a few specialist close combatants?

I would love to see a painting tutorial by you!

The idea is more short range firefight stuff with the ability to leg it when the uber tough close combat boys come running torwards me, but tbh it was really motivated by the models I liked rather than any grand strategy lol. I love the bold colours and clean lines of the eldar range and would have loved to have squeezed in some scorpions and a wraithlord, but at 1000pts its just not possible......but at 1500pts...mmmm

would be happy to do a tutorial, perhaps on my jetbikers or fire dragons, thats if work or the kids ever allow me to paint again lol

That would be great, understand family comes first though.

I'm trying to get my partner into it, at least painting anyway lol she is very
arty but I think it is the geek factor she just can't handle.... poor woman for
the rest of her life she will live in misery and be deprived of eternal bliss
lol
