Small Hall / Week Off? Dates
Guys,
As regulars will know, about 4 times a year we get farmed into the small hall due to some long standing Darts Contest fixtures that predate the existence of BRGA.
In previous years we've managed in the small hall, but this year I'd like EVERYONE to let me know if we should bother or just not have a session that week.
I'm in favour of not bothering, as it sends a message to Newtown that we think the Darts can pick another bloody day, plus we always make less and don't get a reduction in hall fee.
Of course I'm not suggesting we ge tinto a barny with them, simpy deprive them of £80 takings for these four sessions (perhaps we could all visit a local club such as warblington wargamers on these weeks.
19th June - Euro qualifier
17th July - Darts
2nd October - Darts
9th October - Darts
let me know what you think we should do these four weeks:
1) close,
2) use the small hall,
try to arrange another day.
I vote option 1.

Re: Small Hall / Week Off? Dates
Think you forgot the poll...
Anyway, I'd say also not to bother for these weeks, surely we shouldn't pay as much if we get a smaller hall. And considering we are quite a few more people now, we're not even sure to have enough space for tables.

I've just ordered a few boxes of Project Pandora - Grim Cargo, I may have to keep one for my self so we can play on Board Game Night
Re: Small Hall / Week Off? Dates
We put this to a vote (most of you were there) and we decided to go for the small hall and have a small games night.
I can bring Zombies, Perudo, battle Cars, The Bugmans Bar Game, and even BRGA's own Drinking Games*...
