groovy thanks for that man
i was going to say painting wise with the scourge you could give them a good base coat of what ever you are planning the main colour to be and then give them a drybrush with a lighter colour. with all the ridges and that it should turn out nice and you can give it a nice coat of armypainter shading to finish it off

Ok few things I have noticed about our game last night…………. there was next to no shooting of units.
Sure I fired my AA weapons at drop ships but 90% of all shooting was at buildings……. My fear is that this game will end up being who can blow up the buildings fastest and I think it might be more interesting to play a game with only 1 or two objectives that cannot be moved and must be captured. This might force us to concentrate on storming the building rather than levelling it?
It is surprisingly hard to damage some units…… well PHR units any way
The PHR have some very annoying cards but I have not seen the other races so cannot comment on how annoying they are lol
Fast moving aircraft might be worth investing but really need to read up on those rules to make sure.
Also more troops might be a handy thing to have.
All in all lots of fun but 6 turns does not seem long enough some how lol

i like the idea of having 1 stationary objective. was having a quick brain storm of having an attack and defend type game but not sure if that would work due to the lack of faction specific terrain.
I know some of my cards can be nasty but i currently don't have the right units to use them on. but so far the scourge are a mystery, none of us have seen their cards and we know they have some really nasty units

I would have to say I kind a wished I had my Christmas tree handy for that game lol being able to give a building a 5+ save would have helped a lot.
The chap sated that all the battles are taking place on old human worlds hence the human terrain.
He did mention that he might make other buildings for other factions down the line but I think human was the eases and cheapest to make out of card and such.
Also he has said they are thinking of making structures that can be transported so it will be a little like the command and conquer games with bases and such

So the mother ship as teleported in my reserves Ikea style so just have to build them and paint them up.
