Lutece Cup 14-15th June 2014

Bloodbowlers,
Garry Deacons and I are going to the Lutece cup 14-15th June 2014 in Tours, France.

It is a 5 man team event, you need 13th & 16th June off for Travel, and it costs £120-£165 per person including Travel, Eurotunnel, Ticket to the event, fuel and tolls, and accommodation (if the concensus is NOT to camp at the event).

This is the best organised and most fun tournament I've ever been to, I'm even skipping the NAF Championships this year as this is THE tournament to go to.

Garry and I are looking for 2-3 more team members - Stephane has first shout as he was on BRGA's 2013 team, sadly Mike and Angel cannot make it this year due to work commitments.

Saying that, there is no reason why we couldn't get two teams of 5 entered, could then hire a minibus and make it cheaper for all concerned still.

My brother has shown an interest, but we'll see if he can afford it...

There are two Thrudballers who want to go to Lutece this year, Hawk and Scs.Sam.

I will email them this post so they can confirm, but we've now got a team of 5, presuming Stunty Gaz and Jimmy Jazz are still 100% committed to lutece.

Sadly I heard a rumour from Lycos all of the chalet's are gone Garry.

Can we all look to getting our ticket paid in the next few weeks?

Yep me too will definitely be coming. I will also pay the ticket at the end of the month just let me know where to PayPal it.  

As for travel and accommodation Me and Andy are going to drive over in my car and are more than happy to camp - my tent is comfy enough.   

One thing of note for the rest of the team if I were you I would travel off of the toll roads - while this makes for a longer drive it is much more interesting once you get past Abbeville also if you break down on a toll road they won't let your breakdown company collect you. The French  make you pay around £150 to be recovered off of their toll road where your breakdown company can then collect you - on the road you are paying to be on !!!!
