Wicor Models discounts.

Hi chaps
I have been on the phone to Wicor models about getting a better discount if we put in a large order.

The end result is if we put in a order of around £500+ we could get around 15% off on any of the non-direct sails stuff from GW

The pain is that we won’t know what is direct sails till we place the orders as it can change from week to week it appears but our orders could be in to collect within a week or two.

How we go around gathering the money and getting it to them needs some discussing so let’s get our heads togeather.
I mentioned to her that we could do an order every 6 months or so as it gives us time to save up for a big order and means we will pop in for stuff in between as well as.

I also mentioned about sponsorship and she mentioned that GW have told her that if they gets lots of custom then GW would give them things to donate though I don’t know much more about that yet.

There was also mention that other companies are getting into financial trouble by offering to much off such as 30% and from what I have seen this could be true.
Total wargamer is defiantly one to avoid GW orders with and if you have any with them I recommend you get a refund asap.

All in all this is promising and I really hope will use Wicor models more as we could all really benefit from it.
On a side note mention you belong to BRGA if you pop in there.

I am wanting at least 1 more imperial knight and a rule book from them so I am pretty happy to spend with them.

be good to get an idea of how many people would be intrested in this.
if we can get 10 people that would be £50 each minimum order

I just got a Lizzard army. So I need a rule books. Is it just GW stuff for the discount?

Just GW at the moment but as we use them more they will probably stock a better range of products. However lots of people have said they are interested only a few have bothered to log onto the forum and next to none seem interested in working out how to make it work so this will probably never get much further than this

Sorry budd again a great idea I use the shop a lot but don't really need much. But it's the same 3/4 peeps using the site again and at club peeps were like I have no game and I informed that I was posting on site for a game and nobody cheeked it lack of effort to use the website by most which is sad

It is a bit of an issue, I'm having trouble confirming places for my tournament... I've even told them it's on the forum but alas, only a fraction of the people who said were interested have made any effort. It's simple courtesy...

It's the trouble the site used to be buzzing but it has fallen as of late I want to post battle reports painting pics etc but put off by the lack of traffic on here. Sorry Ben can't get the time off for you tourney

No worries dude! Maybe we should bring this issue up at the next meet, if the club is paying for a site that no one is using, then we need to make a descision whether to keep the site or drop it for a free social media of some sort. Though whatsapp is useful, not everyone has access to it, and shouldn't be used for day to day club activities. We have a forum AND a Facebook page, consolidate our resources for the benefit of the club and it's members

Yup already brought all this up and it didn't work but if more ppl join the cause maybe it will work this time

whatsapp is very handy for organizing games and letting people know you cant make it but other than that it is only good for flirting and boasting lol.e
i think the forum is well worth keeping and we should invest more time in it as a club. this is one reason why i am running the campaign on here cos face book and whatsapp just not up to the job.

the forum is also much better for sharing information like how to paint and so on and now i got a laptop again
i plan on trying to find time to do some bits about magnets and using cork for basing and so on. (you can find this out on line easy but good to have it here to.)

Agreed. I'm at club this Tuesday (beating Charlies's Cygnarians bloody hopefully   ) if you want to bring it up with Frank
