Right we have a list of 16 players let the fun begin!

Annihilation! This event will try to encompass all aspects of the hobby and game, force selection, table top tactics, painting and modelling!

Force selection.
1000pts from any up to date codex. Forge world and allies are a ok too.
Special characters are also fine but if players should both have the same character model and rules then neither will take part. A little incentive to create your own inspiring heroes.

Painting and modelling.
Army's that are fully painted will gain +1 point in the group stage of the event.
Army's that are WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) i.e. players can easily see what your models represent without having to explain what everything is, of course non GW and conversions are just dandy too. If so you will gain +1 point in the group stage.

Group stage.
The tournament will kick off with the group stage. 16 players divided into 4 groups of 4. Each player will play everyone in their group once and the top two will go to the knock out stages.
All group stage games will be PURGE THE ALIEN.
Players will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss. A tally of total victory points will decide any place ties like goal difference in football.
plus bonus points for any painted/wysiwyg army's.

Knock out stage.
The last 8 and there after 4 will play CRUSADE. Straight knock out, winner goes through. Draws will be replayed.

Final.
The last two (and the 3rd and 4th place play off) will play BIG GUNS NEVER TIRE.

Still gluing

I must warn my future opponents, my list will fluffy, very fluffy. There will be some prawns, some manta ray and lots of puppies. There will be some clawing, some barking, scratching, biting, slashing... If we have time, it'd good to play 40k too...

Getting kinky before the game does not give you bonus points as far as I know

why is it i always lose incentive to paint oh well an army of nids will be mismatched in colour and limbs but the list is pretty simple

Maybe they are different colours because they are ill after eating something that disagreed with them lol

Tony, my army is 95% painted. I'll be using the remaining 5%, that's all...

Last nights results, opening night

Group A match was Sam vs Rich, victory to Rich 3-9

Group B match was Gaz vs Jim, victory to Gaz (just) 8-7

Group C match was Mark vs Elvis, victory to Mark (again a close one) 7-6

Group D match was Alfie vs Stephane, victory to Stephane 2-8

Group D where are you?  Group matches need to be played.  Group A a lacking too, and yes I know you're one short.

All kinds of results last night after plenty of games! I really enjoyed both my epic clash with Elvis and watching the results come in from the other games.

Group B has two qualifications into the knock outs, Gaz and Rich. 

Alex is set to go through in group A. The group looks set to get either Frank or Alfie join them for a second chance to qualify. All depends on Alfies last game in D

Group C relying on one game to see who goes through out of Ryan, Elvis and my self! 

And group D running very close on points between Steve, Tony and Stephane.

BREAKING NEWS

Update to group A. Andy will be filling the gap and make the group upto 4. So no longer will the lowest scoring player from the other groups be filling the space, sorry.  

Sam, Alex and Rich you now have Andy.
