Monthly painting club

Hi chaps
As mentioned in the AGM I said I would be happy to help people develop their skills in painting in club time and Elvis also volunteered is knowledge as well.
I thought we can do this on the 1st Tuesday of each month and it could be a two way process with people bringing their collective knowledge to benefit the entire club.

It is completely voluntary and open to suggestions and questions and seeing as there will be people at different skills and such I thought I would just get a bunch of you together and help out individuals as they paint in the club around a table.

But for starters we will need to cover the basics so on May the 6th anybody who is interested can come see me and we will take about getting started from colour schemes, prep work and undercoating and then the following month I hope some of you will have a miniature you can bring in and we will cover what you need to do to get the effect you want.

As we progress I will also cover stuff like pinning and working with green stuff but let’s get the painting down first.

You will need to get some supplies but we will cover that on the 6th.

I won’t get down club till 8:30 at the best of times so feel free to get a game in first or get started on painting if you like

well can’t say i am all that impressed by the response so far. if people are thinking of taking part please respond so i can have an idea of numbers

different ways to base your models (other than just the typical painted sand) maybe how to add character to a base? or blending

I'd like some help on magnetising since I'm planning on playing Tyranids in the near future.

right chaps this will be starting up agine in July so if you have any requests let me know and i will try to cover them in the first paint club session
