AGM Addendum - Main Hall (EXCEPT Star Darts)

Further to concluding negotiations with the Newtown regarding getting the main hall permanently on a Tuesday ...

As of next Tuesday 4th August our weekly fees will increase by £1/week EXCEPT for carers (Maxine) and other non-playing Parent-taxis (Max).

The Spectator fee is abolished, as we only had this to justify paying half the £40 fee.

Note after one last previous booking Tuesday 10th August, ONLY Star Darts will be able to book the main hall over us (due to the £1000 revenue each Star Darts evening makes for the Newtown), and these will be advised well in advance in future and only be 6-7 times a year.

When Star Darts DO take Tuesdays, the Newtown will book us in for the Monday in the Main Hall APART from 10th August, due to a previous main hall booking.

Please continue to support your club, if we don't continue to hit an average of 14-16 players a night we'll now not cover our £40 rent.

Please help to support the club by running the various popular games systems (40k, war machine, bloodbowl, Star Trek Attack Wing, X-Wing, Mordheim coming soon, warhammer sigmar silliness, etc).

Even if its not your favourite thing try an occasional new game, as this is all in aid of growing the club.

Once Thrud is done next weekend, Sam Trotter and I can start on the cupboard rebuild, and spend the rest of the £395 last years thrud earned for BRGA on boards, scenery, stuff you want.

Also there is the possibility of the Main Hall on Wednesday 12th August seeing as its not available Monday 10th August or Tuesday 11th August - would this work for you guys? PLEASE VOTE ON THE POLL, RUNS TILL 5TH AUGUST

Finally note when we do take Main Hall days OTHER than Tuesday due to Star Darts, the Newtown have allowed us to take the Main Hall at our current fee of Half Price, I.e. £20..
