AGM [strike]01/06/11[/strike] 31/05/11
Attention all BRGAN's
As my original post five weeks ago advising of the AGM last week apparently didn't save(Doh!), and as due to GCN protocol I MUST give four weeks notice, I hereby advise our AGM will be May 31st.
The purpose of this AGM will be to give a financial review (We've Raised £254.33 for each of the two charities as of end April 2011), hopefully vote in a couple of comittee members / recruit a couple of volunteers to help grow our membership, run the club more smoothly, and help with organising Thrudball.
Committee Nominees
Me - Club Leader (you can nominate yourself too if you wish)
Althea Claridge - Club Treasurer (I need to check she's happy
continuing in this role)
Mike Ragless - Membership Secretary (Again provided Mike wants to continue in the role)
Elvis Fisher - 40k Leader (in recognition of his passion for all things 40k)
Garry Deacons - Blood Bowl League Commissioner (as he maintains the stuntyleeg Website)
Steven Homer - Caretaker (responsible for maintaining Club Battle Boards and Scenery, managing Battle board Grant spends, etc). PLUS GCN KNIGHT (deals with GCNCorrespondence, seeing as most of it is regarding 40K tournaments.
MArtin Garrigan - Thrudball Assistant Referee (to help run the event - will get a FREE Referee Shirt from me as a thank you / bribe)
A VOLUNTEER - Thrudball Auction Item Sourcer(to help get stuff for the auction / Will get a free thrudshirt from me as a thank you / bribe)
A VOLUNTEER - BRGA Advertiser (to promote BRGA in the local area)
Charles McBroom - Website Manager (as I struggle just updating the thrudball website, and we need more regular updates of the bognorgaming website)
I'm also hoping to make an amendment to our Club Rules (I am going to put Spectator fees to a final vote, as I believe it will ensure the club let us keep our lowered hall feee).
A few of the club members were considering suggesting a change to our current charities (Steve you mentioned the St Richards Kids Charity, and Shane you could ask the club to support your attempts to start a charity for Owen, particularly as the Hall are backing you). This could be put to a vote at the AGM.
I will at the same time check all your contact details are correct, and take any suggestions you may have for improving the club as a whole.
If you cannot make it but want to raise an issue or vote, use this Forum Post.
Will try to make it as unboring and as quick as possible...

This means you have 13 weeks to learn the rules of bloodbowl ...
are you sure?
If you are serious, here's a link to the current rulebook:

Re: AGM [strike]01/06/11[/strike] 31/05/11
Martin, Yup, that's the one. I'll also have to show you how to punch the result in and stuff, but that's the easy bit.
May make sense if I take you through a few practise games once you've had time to read the competition rulebook....how long do you think it will take you?
Charlie thanks very much for offering to take on the website, I'll liaise with you shortly on how to update it etc. When are you next at the club?
Frank

Re: AGM [strike]01/06/11[/strike] 31/05/11
I already understand most of the basic things, it's just remembering kickoff tables, weather table. Really, i took over Charlies' 2nd half and pushed Mike to a draw
I will probably end up having a ref's note pad with me with things like that jotted just in case my mind blanks. (I suggest a hammer with a red card on it for you Frank.)
