Inter Club Meet Saturday 29/10? Empty Inter Club Meet Saturday 29/10?

Hello(From Mike Roddham, Walberton Wargamers),

We at Walberton thought it would be a good idea to invite BRGA over for a day's gaming on Saturday 29th October, starting at 10am and finishing by 7pmish. Would you be interested?

The suggested format is that each club enters up to 3 teams, each of which consists of 3 players and 3 forces:

2,400 WHFB
1,750 WH40K
1,100 BB

Exactly which player plays which force in any given round is up to the team members, as long as they all use the same forces as entered. Scoring would then be 3 points for a win and 1 point each for a draw.

We would fight 3 rounds over the course of the day, so if both clubs enter 3 teams then each team gets to meet a different opposing club team each round.

If you are interested then I will write up a proper rulespack before the event.

You are more than welcome to enter less than 3 teams if needs, though the more the merrier. If other BRGA members want to turn up for a game on the same day they would also be more than welcome, I'm sure we can cram in another table or two and find some opponents somewhere.

We can do some catering if people would like a proper lunch, though there may then be a small cost incurred, alternatively people are welcome to bring their own lunch or buy sandwiches or other food and drink from the nearby corner shop. Tea and coffee will be freely available.

I am hoping that in the long run this will be the basis for an annual event.

Have a think and let me know.

Regards
