Blood Bowl for Beginners

Frank not sure how much u looked at site but i am willing to help run it but i cant attend every week which is where i feel things failed last time as i wasnt there to nag, just ask if u need help on site as it will take me less than a few mins to set anything up as im familiar with it all ( dont hesitate to ask )

i will be driving (fingers crossed) very soon and as soon as this is sorted my attendance will be better which means later in year i will want to be part of league so i will deff join now and just try deal with arranging games

people need to make there own teams on website so handing u rosters wont help, not to all when u make ur team at bottom it says select league and by default says da leeg make sure u select brga or you will ahve to do it again - also frank do you know how to make new da leeg users as all those with out a login ie didnt play last time will need one ?

What was the website so that I can create the team?

Will probably be struggling to be there as Im now working Tuesdays, but will try to be there before 8pm or arrange an other day.

I can input your team for you if you'd prefer, in fact I'd rather have all the rosters and do it myself so I'm only waiting on me, if you catch my drift. But seeing as you've used the stuntyleeg (and even ran a stuntyleeg) before, if you'd rather create your own team online then fine, SO LONG AS IT'S DONE BY 10/1. Ok?

you say you're working tuesdays...Note you can choose to arrange League matches on non-club days (although remember guys the club needs our attendance to stay afloat) PROVIDED both coaches agree AND a third coach is either on site or has agreed to be available on a mobile phone number (I'm prime referee if you've a query on a non-club night, unless you are playing me, of course...).

The comment about starting before 8pm is a good one, I'm going to make this a house rule for league matches played on a club night, particularly as there are some newer players who might struggle to play quickly (I shouldn't struggle for time as I'm playing halflings, and hence will have no team left by the second half anyway ).

In general Team turns should be four minutes (maybe newbies could be allowed 5 minutes if they need it). You should only need to enforce this if you are approaching half of your allotted time to play the match, and haven't got anywhere near the second half. Shouldn't be an issue if we start before 8pm, as 180 minutes equates at 5.625 minutes per Team turn, 32 Team turns per game...

I once played a guy who took 20 minute turns at a tournament. He had kickoff, caged in AGONISING slowness EVEN compared to ME, and scored in turn five, leaving me about 5 minutes to try and score an equalizer before the round ended...funnily enough, in his next match when his opponent got kickoff he FLEW, making 2-3 minute turns. I was so livid i reported him...never saw him again after that

I'm working tuesdays, but I should be able to turn up between 7:30 and 8:00. If I arrive later and our game is scheduled, I'll rush my turns and give myself a shorter turn for the inconvenience and to be fair to the opponent so that we'll finish the game before 11pm, so don't worry on my part. I'll also propose an alternative day out of the club, just on case.

ive changed my mind on team id like to try skaven but i dont have a team is it possible to either substitute some nids for rats lol or could i borrow a team if some one has a spare one? Please thank you very much

Don't have a skaven team, but I wouldn't mind if you were using substitutes until you get your own team.

Just a quick not to confirm that I'll not be able to really commit to the league fixtures at the moment so will have to give it a miss.

However, I can confirm, in the spare time I do have, I will be building and painting a team to donate to the Thrudball Auction this year.
