In a galaxy far far away...

I have been perusing my roleplay books and have decided that I would like to host a Star Wars RPG, I was hoping that we could try to get it to work with the times the other roleplays are happening. It is intended that the time setting (there are bloody hundreds of different settings available!) would be in the Rebellion era, sometime before the battle of Yavin and the abolishment of the Imperial Senate (for those of you who don't know what I'm on about this is just before IV A New Hope) so that the Rebel Alliance is just finding its feet, with the players starting out either as "fringers" or more enticingly as members of the Galactic Empire!

I'm looking for 3-4 players, I'd not like to involve much more than that as I've not got alot of GM experience and the game can loose alot of momentum in larger groups. Now given the time period, Jedi are SUPERDUPERNEVERSEENOMGWTFUGPWND rare. However, I'm willing to give a chance at an exception (a 01% at that! and thats being generous!) for a character to choose the force sensitivity feat at first level (then IF you can find a jedi !WITHOUT METAGAMING! you might be able to become one!).

So, who wants to try to make sci-fi history!

Considering how dumb a lot of the names in Star Wars are I'm surprised that there isn't someone called that already.

Mark: yea you can be a droid but there are a few things I'll have to read up on first (no-one has played a droid before in any campaigns I've played)

I doubt we will be playing this week, just a roundup of players and hopefully starting the character sheets!

Ok, so we have 3/5 characters done, just need charles and josh to turn up and write out theres.
We have:
James, the fringer cop with attitude and slugthrowing pistols! played by the Fred.
ZX92, the criminal droid with a passion for gambling... played by Mark.
and a so far unknown Twilek aspiring bounty hunter, with a grudge! played by Sam.

Also making guest appearences is FK-6824, the stormtrooper who has some secrets... played (on occasion) by Tony

What sort of classes are there, see I am big fan of Han Solo... maybe a merchant or a pilot would be cool, not to sure on the races though.
