Its a good site but doesnt always work. Ignore the top 10 most battles, it wrong compared to the info added and the ratio table, I dont know why? Just using the top 10 win ratio table really. I wouldnt edit your gangs either on there, more trouble than its worth, trust me...

Hi folks, I am the creator of Yakromunda and I'd like to make sure the site is working for you correctly. If you're interested in the stats component, could you elaborate on the problem with the Top 10 most battles and the win ratio sections? I wasn't aware of any inaccuracies there but I also like to make sure those numbers are right.

edit: I've noticed the discrepancy and it was due to the system not cleaning up participation records properly after a battle was aborted. So there was a child record for gangs for a battle that didn't exist. I've removed the child records without parents and I'll take a look at the code to see why it didn't clean up properly after aborting. (Did that whole sentence just sound wrong out of context?)

Regarding the editing of gangs, I'd really like feedback on why you consider it not worth the trouble of using the system for its main purpose, the tracking of gangs and campaigns. Is there specific interface or usability issues you would like me to address? One thing I haven't had time to do yet on the site is good documentation on using the site, as there are many functions or ways to achieve what you want that many new users aren't aware of. The forums is a good place to see previous qustions and to ask how to perform certain things for Necromunda.

Lastly, each member of a Necromunda campaign should have their own login, then you can invite each gang to a campaign. That way the players can control their own gangs, and the campaign creator can also modify anyones gangs as well. Any customization a player does in the system will automatically be available to all players in the campaign as well.

I appreciate any critisisms so I can make the system better.

Ah sweet your a handy guy to know, the web sites really useful but i couldnt add weapons to my gang leader, the bolt gun for example i couldnt tick the box etc so i gave up. the main reason i've entered all gangs is just for the league table side of things. Not all the players use the forum or want to so I cant garuntee all players will show unless ive addeed them, its more of a tool for me to log results and record matches.

Regarding your problem, do you perhaps deny any scripting with your browsing? It uses quite a bit of Javascript to make the interface much easier to use, but without script it's quite useless unfortunately. As long as Javascript is enabled, you should simply be able to tick a weapon/equipment and it will automatically add to the gangers equipment without submitting or anything. There is a link for refreshing the equipment list.

Just this minute playing on a brand new laptop so i will give it another try im sure.. Yakro has made my life a little easier anyway, thanks for creating it. Very useful indeed!

Aye, I changed it while I sorted it out. You can't add your gang so to speak as they are already listed. Done this way as not everyone will use it. I'll show you what I mean next Tue if that's cool Charlie. I'll bring my computermbob next week
