epic 40k any intrest

I have 3 super heavy scorpions, but mine are so old the falcons and tanks dont look like the new falcons etc, but still pretty cool bla bla bla

sweet, well i am skint at the moment due to buying my eldar army off of ebay so may have to buy next week (unless i can "borrow" some money off my mum )

Thanks to Chris for a great game tonight! , I noticed that Epic seemed to generate some interest amongst those at club. To clarify for those that asked, I propose that we start with 2k armies and limit ourselves to non aircraft/warengine formations for the first couple of games. Also people asked about the army lists-there are some available on the GW site under resources that are contained in the rule book. In additon Epic UK (tournament organisers) use and have compiled lists for other armies not covered in the main rulebook(s). I will leave a link here for that. Hopefully we can see more games at club of Epic as a break from 40k and warhammer now and then

Cheers Steve, loved last nights game, lots of trying to second guess and out manoeuvre each other, love the way the game works and of course lots of tanks! Plotting my 2k army now!

got a necro game next week, but after dose any one want to teach me how to play. i want to use my 2.5k army but if i have to lower it thats fine. still have enough to make another two army lists !!! so will prob get another 2k list out of the models left

I would be happy to teach you the rules mate, have a read of them to give yourself a head start. There easy enough tbh.

How are peoples Epic forces coming along?

I've nearly finished 3k of marines. Just a couple of Titans to order to make a full 4k

im going pre-heresy death guard although haven got round to painting any of them yet but i did manage to undercoat 1 whole epic rhino

Ha ha, well done Rich. I found painting Epic a joy. So basic and quick. Unless you really want to go to town on them. I've finished my 3.5k Ultras, just waiting on my warhound Titans to arrive to make 4k.

Ok so that's two traitor legions then cool.

Figure I'll go Guard once I get enough money to buy some minis. The ease of painting them is a really big draw as well as the fast rules. Just gotta find the rules for all the super heavy tanks.
