Army Pictures

Hi All,

As I'm new I thought I would upload a picture or two of some of my Orks. Feel free to show some of your pictures!

I'm not a great painter, but I consider them "tabletop" standard (IE. I can play with em, but they ain't winning no beauty contest!)

I have some older models left over from when I first started playing/painting YEARS ago, and they contribute a large quantity of my Ork Boyz, but I'm trying to improve my newer models.

Will have to get some pictures of my entire army up at some point!

Would be cool to see some of your own pictures guys

Just aim for a 1000 point army for now (I recommend anyway) great size for learning the game and less stressful to get painted

Yep always best to paint what you got before getting more =D

That way it gives you good incentive to get the stuff you have painted

Oh aye. Sometimes you cant help buying stuff though can you!?

I have over 1000pt army already.

Off top of my head I have:

60x Ork Boyz (40 Slugga / 20 Shoota)
10x Lootaz
2x Warbosses
1x Big Mek w/SAG
1x Looted Land Raider
2x Zzap Guns
4x Warbikers
...

Plus a few more bits im keeping under wraps. I think if I got my entire army battle ready I would have 80+ Boyz and would guess a points total of 1750+

Sounds like you got a good starting point there.
now don’t get any more till you have had a few games so you have a better idea of what you need to fill the holes in your list and painted what you got lol

I have plenty of "toys" to play with. Its a case of sitting down and painting them and getting some more games under my belt.

Defiantly worth getting to grips with 6th ed so you can get a better idea of what your key units will be

Lol I said it was best to do that not religious script you have to adhere to………. Can’t say I have ever lived by that rule and the tone of unpainted miniatures I have are testament to that

Every time GW release a new min I have myself wanting to get it…………… have resisted quite well so far and then dropzone commander game along and it all went up the spout lol

Heh. Yeah, its so easy to buy new stuff. Really want some Flash Gitz, but with no boxset I can either by a bucket load of the expensive individual model, or get some Nobz and Kustomize them up.

I don't bother going out for "Powerbuilds" etc, I run allsorts, most of the time stuff that doesn't go to plan as well!

Looted Wagon - "Don't press dat! rule makes it unreliable"
Shokk Attack Gun Mek - Unpredictable at best. Sucking up snotlings and accidentally can teleport himself in to Close Combat
Zzap Guns - Chances of blowing up the krew on a regular basis and got as much chance of blowing up a land raider as it has of failing to hurt a Spaz Marine.

Loving the pictures guys. Big fan of Orks brob my fave race in the 40k universe.

orks are fun to play whatever side of the table you are on  

Ye mate i think so. I love to see the green horde on the table something about it for me puts it above the rest.

the fact they are quite mad and fun might be the reason.

not played vs orks for a long time mind you.

orks are due out March next year i think
