New To Bognor Looking to join Club.

Hi all, My names Ollie, Ive recently moved to Bognor and have been a whfb Player for many years, Im interested In joining the club. Are there many whfb players that go, if so do you run leagues/tourno's ect? Im in the process of re-building my Dark elf army over the next 2months and will probs be interested in joining In.

Well if your Druchi will be anything like mine you won't need too many. it's quite a compact army at 2000 points. just finishing the last 18 corsairs as a bodyguard for my horrendous Dreadlord!

Hello. i think with the fantasy torny last year, there is only a small hand full of members at club who don't have fantasy armies, so you will feel right at home great to see a new peeps joining. Do you play any other table top games?

welcome to BRGA ollie, I'm Frank, Club Leader. I normally get there about 7:15-7:30pm

We're a not-for-profit GCN club in aid of two local kids charities.

Membership runs 1st Sept to the following 31st August, and is £5 per annum.

Members pay £2.50 a session, non members £3.50 (until they've played & payed 5 sessions, at which point they are members.

Your first session is free. we charge a nomina; 50p spectators fee for people who stay past 8:30pm, to protect our reduced hall fee.

As well as 40k, Warhammer, Bloodbowl, Necromunda and other GW games, we also roleplay and play non GW stuff (flames of war, Zombies!!!, Weed!!(card game), Munchkin, War Machine, whatever anyone brings to club basically.

We run an annual Bloodbowl Tournament that has raised over £15k in the last 8 years. see www.thrudball.com for details.

Thats right, a small elite army is the way I run my d'elf lists.

I need Black guard in my life, I think.

Not exactly no, well Dark elves are the best army in the game if played properly no matter what daemon/WoC/Skaven player says I won leagues/mini tourno's with my last army.
Black guard are a good choice to take.

Well my 2k is made of everything I have so I'll soon see what I need to invest in.. excerpt dark riders as GW want far to much for one horse. But Black guard are a must. In a couple if weeks I'll be facing Ogres for the first time.

hmm Dark riders, I know a chap who bought a box of those Wood elf riders and converted them to dark riders Thats a good way of saving a few ££ As I think they are still only bought separetly Im not sure tho.

That's a fair shout. I know a lot of people use dark riders and shades. I don't have a very typical dark elf force. GW want £7.50 a rider. Yet a box of glade guard is only £20 for 8. which is a stupid number when ranks work in 5's..

I know man. Its tempting just to search for stuff on e-bay for my army and re-spray it ect but I much prefere buying brand new stuff feels so much better
