Fantasy league

Hi all rather than run a Fantasy tournament this year I propose a mini leauge for those that play and enjoy fantasy. As we don't have the same numbers of Fantasy players as 40k I think this will be better and wont interfere with other events such as blood bowl tournies etc as this can run in the back ground with no urgency at all. 

The way it works. 

3 rounds, each round is a different battle type, play each person once per round.

Round 1- 1000pts meeting engagement, Round 2- 1600pts battle for the pass, Round 3- 2000pts battle line, players can change armys each round.

3 points a win, 1 point a draw, 0 points a loss. Keep a total of VP's to use as goal difference. 1pt bonus per game played with a painted army.

Due to pressures and decisions happening with my job and my other half's I wont have the gusto to run this league, more important things to think about. So unless someone else takes it over or runs something I wont be. Sorry guys.

Sorry to hear this chris. I will take this on board and take over any tourneys that are running if you like. I will can the league idea as its Alittle to much for me to run along side my campaign that I have in the pipeline. So I will change it back to a tourney format 2000 points that will start after the 40k one following similar format as that can I get names here for anyone that wants to join.

well, why dont you let someone else have a go at running it, if you dont like the league idea? I'd quite happily run the league so you dont have to worry about it

Right well that's settled Elvis is running the tourny, Ben is doing the league.

Back on topic, who else is interested in the league. I personally want to see the league take off as it's easier going than the tourny and it allows less experienced fantasy players a chance to play around with their beloved armies.

I would also suggest we start the league before the tourny as it allows the n00bs a chance to practise before they go into the tourny, where things get cutthroat. And yes I am totally aware of the irony of a Warriors of Chaos player writing this.
