Greetings all! Firstly thank you all for making the tournament a fun experience for us all I enjoyed watching some great games

As I feared tho work has made my life difficult again and i will not be able to run the 3rd and 4th rounds of the tourny this coming tuesday.

Therefore I will be running the next tournament leg on MAY THE 24TH

I hope this is ok for everyone

now for your viewing pleaseure I enclose the current standings after round 2 + quiz
(in alphabetical order)

I can also reveal that Charlie has unearted some additional prizes for us therefore there will now be prizes as follows

1st place (heresy model)
2nd place (ytbc)
last place (some kinda trinket)

best painted mini in army (as choosing by me. As most armies are not finished I thought it best to go with this-prize tbc)

best sportsmanship award- a vote cast by each player (and no you cant vote for yourself) in the case of a tie I will cast the deciding vote.

My new job starts on the 24th, it will usually be ok, but being my first day, I don't know if they'll need me late until I actually start...

Weeelll I could perhaps try and do it on the 17th BUT it would mean a later start as I am working until 8

if i can get happy ppl to help frank charlie i can start the 1st game if those guys will roll for it

I'm afraid the earliest I can realistically get there would be 2100. Obviously that would leave us little time to get two games in.
I am reluctantly forced to acknowledge that the 24th is still the better date. I want to finish it ASAP so it doesn't 'not happen'
I'm aware that some people might be late on that day. But if I'm there to organise it hopefully we can still finish. If there is a delay on the 24th I was debating running a little combat patrol type game for laughs until we are all there. Or maybe a trial of champions game between HQs. Or even a game I ran once in GW called stop the baneblade

No prob, I'll try and turn up as early as I can next tuesday.

As I said, don't hold your breath if I start to be late. Just count it as a loss and I might be able to come for the second game.

We will wait as long as we can mate, as I said I have a few ideas of distracting games we can play until you show up. But seeing as its not your fault if we do start without you I will award points for a draw rather than a loss

Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to charlie and Frank for provising some awesome prizes, secondly I would like to thank the players for making it an awesome little competition, thirdly I would like to thank my manager and the director for making this academy award possible......

Sadly we had two players that couldnt make the second part of the tourney but the reamin six put on a display of gaming bravado that Chuck Norris would have been proud of. At the end of the night we had a clear winner- Tom with his dark eldar lol and a well deserved best sportsmanship award for Tony. But here is hoe it broke down -

1st place- Tom 124 pts (DE)
2nd Place -Elvis 97pts (chaos)
3rd place Tony 87pts (Nids) also best sportsmanship
4th place- 83pts Russ (orks)

May I just add thanks to you all for providing my little nephew James with such a broad taster of gaming, roleplaying, good sportsmanship, eccentricity and hopefully a taster / desire to get into gaming...

So what's next? a Warhammer tourney?

If I can ever get hold of Aaron to retrieve my dwarves, I'm IN!! Even willing to buy some Cannons etc to beef up my Army (not that dwarves need beefing up)...Ironic isn't it a six foot 6 general with 4 foot soldierr ?

Was amazing to see such a cool tournament, run so well and enjoyed by all.
