Campaign on its way !

I'm writing the rules at the moment and am also drawing the map. I need some town names ! Show me your imagination, which town will you be attacking?!

Azel Prime, its the name of my chapter's home world

Not a planet, a city; imagine your chapter sending a company to the warzone. The city or drop zone is your first rally point. Azel City maybe? (I guess Azel Prime would be ok, but if it's already a planet...)

I'm gonna try and name the bays, lakes, a few cities on the map, and they could be the first zones your armies have set foot on. Any fluff you wanna add, go on, I'm listening and try to include it.

This is my own chapter and i made up the name of their home world for the chapters back story, but azel city sounds fine.

The map looks awesome, when are you planning to run this campaign?

Over summer I guess. I need to know who will be interested, what will the teams be, which races are gonna play. I need to finalise the rules and make them balanced and possibly introduce some special rules for specific armies on certain tiles.

Happy to do prizes, but it really depends on how popular the campaign will be.

Well Im in for sure, any ideas on points levels? or are you planning on leaving that to the players to decide each game? I only ask because Im planning on using my Ultramarines that stand at a sinister 1k atm lol..... Might need some more guns me thinks

I think I will leave points up to the players as some might want to play several games in an evening, some other will want a massive game... Games against unnoccupied tiles will probably be small games to represent the possibilty to "blitz" through the population.

Other option is leaving a "raid" option: people playing kill teams, 500 or under (or even Elvis's duel of heros) can only attack a building (manufactorum, shield generator...) but it might hard to make it balanced so i might just drop the idea.

Last option would be escalation: starts at 500, then go up to represent reinforcement.

First one is probably the more flexible really I guess.

Planet is probably gonna be named Brognar (where did this name come from?..), it's in the Segmentus Pacificus.
