Sisters of Battle 6th edition?

What are the chances of Sisters of Battle getting a new codex and models? I like the idea of starting an army of them but won't until/if they bring out a solid codex. Anyone heard rumors or anything?

Sadly not anytime soon, they just had a revamp (albeit a WD one...) Dark Angels, Eldar, Tau are the only ones I read rumours about... II'm afraid you're gonna have to use the WD codex.

To be honest, they're not bad competitively; cconsidering the armies played at the club are not WAAC ones, you should be fine as long as you put a bit of thought in your list building.

Immolators are a good way to carry your sisters, Exorcists are really good now in 6th, a couple of HQs are very good (Uriah and Celestine) and allying with IG blob squads can make your opponent go nuts...

It still a balanced codex, it's just that the sisters players wanted adeptus arbites and other stuff, and got really disappointed with the options... Have you got the WD codex? If you don't, I can bring it at the club if you want to have a look. I don't mind helping you with lists as well.

Don't be too disappointed (unless you wanted to play adeptus arbites... then yeah, cry, you can maybe play them with Grey Knights as henchmen, but then that doesn't make sense... or with IG... but then you shouldn't use most of the IG codex...), everything that makes sisters is still here: faith, preachers, naked women with massive chainsaws, naked guy nailed on a dreadnought, assassins, crusaders, exorcists...

Only reason I didn't start a small sisters army myself (to ally with my IG) is that I'm trying to actually focus on one or two armies max at the moment and I had to stop myself from starting to order stuff...

Cool, could you send me a copy by email (or a link where you downloaded it); it's quite annoying to need 2 white dwarfs to play 1 codex.
