Looks good frank but get rid of the "painting/ modelling/ scenery building workshop" as we don’t have anything like that available unless you happen to have lots of spare paint, glue, models and scenery spare for people to come wreck?

I will bring down stuff, and I'm sure others can too...

I am happy to do a scenery building demo as have got into scratch building terrain after watching mister maker with my boy! Not sure if i that good but I'm better at that than i am at 40k! Also have lots of stuff i can use or blag will get to work on creating some 'heres one i made earlier' pieces, that way none of they club stuff needs to get handled by visitors, unless anyone else really wants to do this?

thanks to Alex and Sam for the pictures you have sent, but I need more or else the powerpoint I gonna project on the wall is going to be a bit short, what I really need is pictures of your armies/mini/scenery etc, this is a great opportunity to show off your skills, if you can email me over anything address is my warbunka name @Hotmail.com (don't want a spam bot to pick it up off the forum)

Also I have created a few bits of scenery, a couple of small bits and one massive long bit showing all the steps to go from pile of old cr@p to a average piece, but what I need to make the display a bit more interesting is anything you guys might have started then abandoned or a work in progress that you can offer? so we can show how to create a battlefield without having someone to stand at the table and explain or have to do demonstration.

On the subject of Fliers and Poster, I have 48 A4 colour Poster and 720 A5 COlour Fliers for the Open Day.

I've already distributed a few at The Toy Shop in South St Chi, the Skate Shop in South Street, Game Store In South Street and Waterstones ( one of the staff there runs a board game club).

Please can you all help me distribute the Fliers and poster, I will dish them out when we're next at the newtown 22/4.

As for pics of my own stuff I am just about the world’s worst photographer lol but how about taking some pics of battles going on down at club over the next few weeks and including them

Frank I am based in London during the day so not to sure if I can be much help distributing fliers but have emailed the flier to some friends and asked them to spread the word

Just heard back from Matt my pathfinder friend and he can do a demo of kings of war and possibly other mantic games from 10:00-14:00.
he will need a table and terrain but he will supply the rules and armies.
Can we book him in

I've collared Table 7 in the morning to play some X-Wing, and Table 10 from 7-10pm for a Bloodbowl Match (possibly my brother Ookie!)

lol table 3 will do us fine and if we can hog it from 10 till 4 then that is probably just as well

so in regards to the painting competition we don't have category or judge.

would it be a good idea to place all the entries out for people to vote on a little before or after the Auction.

also should we have made the prize £30,£20 and £10 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd rather than just one price of £50 for 1st prize?

next year is it worth seeing if we can get a local hobby shop to sponser the price with vouchers maybe?

as a last note how much support are we getting from the club. i know we got a few people doing this and that but all in all lots of people seem rather quiet?

I'm hoping for a swathe of last minute bookings, but I simply do not have the time to chase people.

If anyone turns up for a game without a booking and finds no suitable tables available, I'm sure we can fit them into one of the games already underway.

Looking at current table availability this should not be an issue...

me and wayne are doing an exhibition match using our crumbbowl rules teams for one slot and i am hoping that some friends might come along for a game for the other slot?

Can i book table 13 from 1-10 please. I'm going to do BloodBowl7's for the afternoon. Short demo games for newcomers. In the evening I hope to have a game for my Chaos Pact team.
