Avatar creation for the Regis Campaign
Ok chaps this is a little early but I thought I would get the ball rolling.
In short this thread is for you to put down the info for your Avatars including bragging rights and all.
Please not that you cannot use unique characters or wargear.
Warlord traits and powers will be randomly generated with me before your first game and kept till your Avatar dies and you create a new one.
Your Avatar must be in every game you play for the campaign and represents you on the table. If he dies then you can switch faction or create a new on for that faction.
Please don’t post junk on here. each of you can have one post per character and edit it when you need to and create a new one with a new character.
It should contain the following and fill in what you can when you can.

FaQ:
Some one has pointed out that some avatars will be unequal footing with some being much harder than others. These avatars will also be more expensive mind you and a constant point sink. The 40k universe in not a fair one and avatars will die regardless of how big or small they are. If yours dose survive and win games then rewards will be granted..... Else learn from your mistakes when you make a new one
Note, you only have to keep your avatar the same, squad members and body guards can change from game to game.
So if an imperial guard company commander was your avatar he would have to keep his wargear and warlord traits the same but you could change the wargear of the 4 veterans he has with him.
If a Tau commander was your avatar then he would have to remain the same but he could take bodyguard if he so wished or not as the case maybe.
Just to keep things clear your Avatar must be chosen from your selected codex and be a basic character option that can take warlord traits, they are allowed to take their basic updates so no unique characters and no unique wargear.

Ok I am about to get the new Eldar codex soon with a little luck so I thought I better cover this for avatars.
If your codex is replaced with a new then then try and recreate your avatar as close to the old one as is possible with wargear and adjust the points as needs be.
When it comes to warlord traits then just select the one that is closest to your existing one if possible (if you used one from the main rule book then keep that one).
The same goes for physic powers, keep the ones that are the same but if some have changed then re-roll those.

Farseer Talrin comes from the craftworlds of Iunxi, a collection of small to mid-sized craftworlds and corsairs that have banded together for mutual protection, thanks to the webway portals that connect them easy passage between them means they act as one large craftworld despite being separated by billions of light-years.
Talrin is known for being young and head strong among the other seers and has seen a grate calamity that might befall his people emeinating from the world of Regis unless they can stop it.

Vel'blak was once an ogre of clan Gold tooth but was never satisfied with how things ran in the clan. "Everything had to change" a small voice kept telling him. "You want power?" "You want more?". He could not help but listen intently. One night Vel'blak was on his way back to the clan when all of a sudden a warpstorm portal opened and he was beckoned in by that same voice. Over the millennia Vel'blak mind was overun with thought of great plague and slow agonising deaths so much so he began to enjoy it. Eventually Nurgle granted his wish for great power and made him daemonic. It did not take long for Vel'blak to earn his status as a ruthless creature of chaos, taking lives in the name of nurgle. He has now earned his wings. The great plague is airborne and heading for the regis system.

A former freebooter dwarven handle, Rote (pronounced Rorten) was originally kick out of his Death Skull war band because of his unnatural skin colour and his odd voice. Him and his few followers were found by a freebooter captain by the name of Goregitz Neck Rippa. Goregitz was a feared freebooter that always took more then he could carry and risked his life for the smallest loot. His campaign of terror ended when he decided to land on the infamous planet Krieg. Up on touch down on the planet, the Death Korps and the Imperial navy responded and destroyed the freebooters apart from a few. Rote was one of the few. He was in awe of the speed and efficiency of the imperial navy. This was the start of Rote new life as a warboss of the first known ork air force, The LuftWhhhagger. Rote stumbled on a strange machine on an uncharted planet. The machine opened a rift in the warp which changed him. He now rambles on of a great war between humans. A war that used primitive fighting machines and were the humans were fighting over an area known as Europe. Were is Europe? why was it important to the humans? Most of his war band fear Rote and say he is insane for rambling on about a fake war, but some of the smarter meks and nobs see him as a genius and say he saw a vision of another time. The rift machine never worked again but Rote keeps it on his flag ship (oddly shaped like a blimp, what ever that may be? ) as his good luck charm. He came to the Regis sector in search of more clues to this device and to hunt another freebooter captain by the name of Jawmag Bloodtooth, the one who took his hand and kill most of his beloved gretchin, with which he has a strange obsession with.

Background: The 153rd Regiment of the dark angels are the newest fighting force in the chapter, a new concept based on the teachings of old terra sees this regiment employ a combined arms tactic to embrace all that is best about the Dark Angels by combining elements of the ravenwing and the deathwing with standard troop formations. They maybe short on training, skill, equipment and experience but their bitter resolve to fight to the last and to lay down their lives in the name of the emperor knows no bounds. The Regis campaign represents a chance for this new regiment to prove their worth and fighting skills and stand alongside the Heroes of the imperium, or to fail embarrassingly be disbanded and be sent to re-inforce the PDF force on some unimportant and uninspiring deathworld at the very edge of the galaxy.

Hearing of this struggle for control in the Regis system, and knowing that taking it would give the Necrons a huge stranglehold advantage against imperial forces, he wasted no time in assembling his formidable forces and set a direct corse for what would be a crowning jewel in his already impressive battle campaign

With an obsession with Teef, orks would often find themselves missing a few, if not a mouthful after they visited the good Doktor. Now he follows da boyz on Regis, stapling them back together in the midst of combat, with plenty of teef to get in the process!

Ori is a dark Angels company master that rose to this rank because of his exemplary service of three decades in the third company. He was most noted for his service as company champion and the slaying of the demon prince when his company commander was struck unconscious. He rallied the third company to win the day. This action proved he was a leader of men and was put forward to lead a strike force on world regis. He has brought a hand picked group of veterans to support him, who have served him well throughout .

Background: After receiving information that Overlord Taq'n Veld had teleported back to his tomb world in a sorry state of disrepair, after a victory against a gruesome mixture of Dark Angels and Blood Angels, Rivetrax took it upon himself to take command of the remaining forces in the Regis system and bolster them with a few of his own legion. Unlike Taq'n Veld, Rivetrax has a strong reputation for getting up close and personal with any enemy he faces, giving no mercy, with every blow of his Warscythe being the last that any opponent will see. Regis will bow before this mighty conquerer.

The Daemon Prince Mor'gan and the daemonette May'shun attacked a world close to the Regis System. Inquisitor Arundel requested support and we diverted to quickly put and end to the uprising.

we arrived to find our target being help by Blood Angel Astrates. We had no time or choice but to launch a quick assault on the defenders. Forces were routed with help of the Imperial Knight Margaret. We have established a small standing and will being to communicate with allied forces soon.
our numbers are small, but Arundel has dispatched an inquisitorial force to reinforce us within weeks.

Farseer Bobrin comes from the craftworlds of Iunxi, a collection of small to mid-sized craftworlds and corsairs that have banded together for mutual protection, thanks to the webway portals that connect them easy passage between them means they act as one large craftworld despite being separated by billions of light-years.

He and hiss warriors survived the Horus heresy in the same way his battle brothers and Primarch Leman Russ did, by following Magnus and the Thousand Sons into the warp, on a hunt that will last until the end of days. His arrival now coincides with the chaos forces arrival in the system, he hopes that with every traitor he takes down, he gets one step closer to ending his and his liege's hunt
