Fantasy armies

Was thinking of starting a fantasy army was wondering how many members already have one as most of us seem 40k happy, didnt want to start one then have to go against space marines

I would like to start a wood elf army but I do have to justify it to my better half

I think if I paint my ork then I have the permission of her majesty to purchase more goodies

What army where you thinking of starting?

the new boy (BFG? BNP? ) has a warhammer army or few...

And Aaron and I have joint ownership of a battle for skull pass box, unless he's ebayed it ...

He got the gobbos, I got the beardies to represent my current agedness and slowness-of-foot

kool we have intrest, i need to have a word with all of you tonite about fantasy

and i wouldnt go wood elves just yet most of the army is metal and anything good will cost you 60 pound plus per squad

hey !!!!! I still have your darf models frank . but have unfortunatly sold all my orc and goblns, to be honest more interested in 40k and bloodbowl at the moment

on second thoughts always wanted a all cavalry bretonian army!
lots and lots and a few more knights and maybe a few pegasus knights aswell to pick of war machines and flank attacks.they look awesome aswell.
also like the look of the new(ish) high elves.

I'm up for trying a bit of Beardy Warhammer Fantasy, but may have to invest in more miniatures...

will be starting a bretonian army, like the thought of sending wave after wave of peasants to tie up the enemy then out flank with knights,

It works . Hoping to get my how to play fantasy class up and running soon hopefully in the next two weeks we will supply the army's all we need is the willing players

sounds good i'll be there have won the unit of peasant archers and should have the army book soon might have to be something i make slowly this army but getting some good bargains on ebay, although did miss out on 30 peasant bowmen went for 6.50 some guy got a bloody good deal

Well my Empire Army is still unassembled but I'm more than willing to bring down my 8th Ed Rulebook and act as Rules Guru.

got my army book now, they look cool although have to take a paladin with a banner no matter what as a HQ and cant use dogs of war as we would prefer to die outnumbered then fight aside any other scum

I know i may have started this topic back in feb but have got round to getting my fantasy army started at last (only took me 4 months ) should have a useable force within 2 weeks

well as you know I have the labour of love that is my Empire army, I also have a painted dwarf army-if anyone wants to give them a try. Incidentally if anyone is interested in buying a warriors of chaos army I have an unassembled 1k army for sale

How much were you thinking for your chaos, I already have a small ogre kingdoms army and a large skaven army, but honestly I have always loved the look of chaos just at the time i bought the two armys I wanted to be different (sort of regretting it now)

well should you want to sell those ogres to raise funds for it let me no. also check this months white dwarf storm of magic is going to be huge also there are some new chaos bits the wizard for one is wicked.
