well my last game went well............. not
once again i got my butt whooped by tom's flimsy sadistic elves but as the game got to about turn 3 i had an epifeny how bout my drop pods lose the natural weapon and gain the "ASSAULT VEHICLE RULE"
i mean wat good is it putting a big ol carnifex thats perfect for tearin apart that hard hitting unit at the back of the board in a DROP POD if its gonna land not necessiralrly on target and get shgot the hell out of the follwing turn and DIE

i mean c'mon were nids we eat galxy's for breakfast not have to think OMFG were gonna get shot at i know we'll wait a couple of turns till a few things die

well sorry to say nids nothings gonna die unless youre there to munch it
but oh wait if u foot slog across the board you'll oh wait GET SHOT AT AND DIE

ranting aside it was a good game but i honestly think a couple more units should have fleet the drop pods should be assault vehicles and the swarmlord should be more epic for the points he's worth and thats puttiin it lightly

To be on your side Tony, the Nids have a terrible codex in this edition; the designer has done a terrible job and only a few lists actually work.

The few "attacking" ways of play like drop pods with shooty units with flamers or AT inside are too pricy or all in the Elite FOC, and the new subterrean assault wwhich would have been innovative has become a big flop.

Lots of units are too pricey, all the useful ones are in the same FOC; yep, wait for the next Codex and pray Cruddace won't write it.

Was reading about how either pricey or squishy most 'nid units were. Wondered why I hadn't seen a Carnifex in a while.

yea i agree that would be cool, especially if GW decided to change the deepstrike rule so that you could charge out of a deepstriking dop pod, because you cant, even if its an assault vehicle
