Lord of the Ring Role Play. Anyone interested?

Hey guys! I'm to here and to gaming club, however, I'm thinking about doing a Lord of the Rings roleplay, it's quite good and i've done it like a hundred times before! Anyone up for it?

The rules look great! I like the "edge and flaw" stuff.

Awesome! I like the edge and flaw system too, it brings a whole new aspect of reality to the game, although some people will compare it to D&D the rules do allow for flexibility and to also build your character to up with history!

Setting

Its the Fourth Age of the Sun in the land of Middle Earth, in its thirty second cycle. The Towers of Barad Dur have crumbled, the Darkness that haunted Dol Gurder has vanished from the east and in the North Saruman is dead. The only threat that remains to the Free Peoples is the eastern lands of Khand and Rhun. In many a tavern rumours have bandied about that some of the evil men have turned to Necromancy in hope to revive their Great Lord Sauron. Aragorn, King of Gondor, Chief of the Dunedain, has marched on the Easterlings, hoping to purge the darkness from the Easternfolk and to unite the race of men. The Easterlings are not the most friendliest of people, yet in some villages their remain glimmers of hope, however, there is also more vivid and darker secrets lying in these Unknown Lands, just waiting to be discovered and unleased...

Sorting Battle Boards and scenery must come first...

but if can get chance would love to join in (I'd make a good rider of rohan)

I would join in but i doubt i will be able to be a War Mumak of Harad, a cave troll, the Balrog or a Ringwraith.

Haha! You can indeed be a rider of Rohan!

Unfortunately you can't be a Mumak! Although i think it would be very interesting to do a stealth check with a Mumak, but you could always go for, evil man sorcerer sort of thing? I can be quite flexible!

Awesome! Its settled I currently have two evil guys and no good guys, this Saga could get grisly!

As for a name for your Character, the Easterlings take on Mongolian like names, so Kahmul? That's used in the books, I do like both names though and as I'm sure you know last times come from recognition in medieval times. So for example, a cowardly Dwarf could be called, Khazak Bluebeard, or a Human might be Eorodril Lightheart for being too kind towards people
