The Road to THRUD-BALL

This morning I woke up and had a Mac Donalds fuelled revelation. I AM GOING TO THRUD-BALL!!!

(actually the wife said I can go as she wants a quiet weekend...)

This thread is going to be the on-going story of my journey to Thrud-ball. First of all I needed a game plan!

1. Sponsorship. I'm not going to pay for my ticket. I'm going to get friends and relatives to chip in and "sponsor" my team. (There might even be adverts for them if they pay enough). Once I've raised £21.00 I'll get my entry in.

2. Team. Popular opinion is that a team is needed to win at Blood Bowl. Luckily I ordered a mighty team of GOBLINS which arrived last week. (I believe Goblins are the most broken, cheesy, over-powered Blood Bowl team ever which should help me on my way to the trophy. At least that's what the dodgy looking guy in the back alley said.....). I shall post my painting progress here in the next few days.

3. Skill. Now this could be a problem. I've only played one game so far and didn't really understand that there was a ball involved. Never mind I can practice and there's always:

4. Cheating. Assuming my natural gaming talent fails me I can always bribe, beg, or grovel my way to victory.

5. Team Image. After months of consultation with image gurus Fartchi and Fartchi I am proud to unveil my teams new corporate logo!!!

Work has started on my team. Goblins have already tasted blood. Stabbed finger on pointy helmet, some goblins now partly red coloured, feel faint must sit down......
