Xmas Awards Bash? Closed 25/12/12 & 1/1/13

Guys,
I was talking to elvis the other day about us getting together on the last session of the year for a Christmas bash.

I was thinking of making some Thrud-Face Trophies for the various tournament and competition winners we've had throughout the year...

...Plus was hoping it would act as an incentive for people to complete the Bloodbowl League and current Wh and 40K tourneys.


Was considering putting a £10 ticket price on the evening, with which we could buy a take away for everyone and chuck whatever was left into a "drinking games" pot....


We could even all donate something to a raffle and try to rasie a few funds for the charities and the club?

I might be able to source a few bottles of spirits, perhaps, no promises...


I was thinking of doing this 18/12/12, which would be the last session of 2012, and we'd reopen on 08/01/13.

Let me know what you think - would you come to such an evening, and would you be up for awards / takeaway / drinking games / raffle?

Anyone have any ideas for awards. I'm going with dice of doooooooom the person who's dice are trying to kill them. Tourney king in all the tourneys thrown the person on average that has done the best. Comeback king person who made the best come back in tourneys and leagues. Best painted mini of the year everybody adds in a mini painted this year

How about we nick a TBB idea and each paint a model for a bloodbowk team in team colours then raffle the team at the event! Could we get a team done in that time? Would enough people be willing to paint and donate a player? Think they called it a legacey team on TBB . Just looking at my chaos legacey team I bought at thrudball 2011 made me think off this . Could work and will volunteer to put my name down first!

Think you got the wrong idea frank spoke about club based awards that is a gd idea but I do not have the time to paint ATM due to work a tourney in dec and a comission for Gary and also most of us will be skint so not sure we would raise enough. I'm all game if everyone else is but would not have the time to help
