Wip Eldar corsairs

well i have started to add rivets to it as you can see as well as finishing the etching of the fins.
lots more rivets to add mind. bet half the things come off during the moulding process lol

yay rivets are done and i have also removed the middle hingesas did not think they fit well. now the idea is they just take the doors off when they get the the pod.



next week i will start work on the base.......... then i will try my hand at casting

any feed back is welcome by the way chaps as are questions.

started the base  going to cover it in the GW textured paints once it has dried

once this is dry i will be ready to make a mould of it i think........... might need to pinch soem more lego from the kids first lol

i have some plans for the miscasts it must be said  some can be salvaged for my own use and others can be used as decoration for a project i have in mind

well i got round to painting my supply pod objectives at long last
i found they worked well in games and could spice things up a little by scattering them after they have been placed lol


also did these as a little commission job for a friend at club

so time for a quick update
pleased to say that Baron Von Burnalot is now finished



this will probably be it for the imperial knights, just cant seem to justify getting a 3rd one but you never know lol.

also been working on the second Regis campaign map

trying to make it more focused and less hex like while staying true to the first map.



in short I removed the old hexes and gutted everything but the coastline and then filled it anew and used the air brush to give it some texture. created the mountains by mistake but happy with them for now

well time for some corsairs at long last.
been a long time but got round to a design and Technic that lets me kind of mass produce the main parts i need to do.

first up we got the wing designs, there has been a progression as i learn more things and i now have a flat top wings design that allows me to use a open mold and this speeds things up a lot more and less chance of air bubbles.
just port it in and scrape the excess resin off the top to make it flat.



next up we have some images of the test corsair. i have gone for the multi-wings as i was inspired by someones wonderful conversion i saw in YouTube.
the head is from a dark eldar jetbike and the back is a modified dark eldar warrior heavy weapon pack.







anyway i hope you enjoy this little preview. still lots of stuff to do like stripping all the old plastic mins.
