Tournament news from Walberton Wargamers!

WHFB (Apr 14th):

2 1,200 point armies including 2 generals and up to 2 BSBs but the leadership bubbles only affect one of the armies and not the other

40k (6th Apr):

2 1k armies, each can have its own general

I'm not going to insist on any particular combo of armies (good vs evil etc.) as I don't want to restrict players at all. Hopefully, if there is a choice players would pick something that vaguely made some sense, but I think that has to be entirely voluntary.

3 battles of 2.5 hours each with 20 TP per game, also some TPs available for painting and wysiwyg

Will put up a full rulespack shortly, probably with an army submission deadline for the 40k of 1st April, again 2TPs for handing in a full, valid army list before that date. Learning from the xmas tourney i'll have my army written up before sunday 25th March and will validate any lists submitted from the monday to give people who cock it up some time to be contacted and resubmit their armies and till get their 2TP.

Will use 3 different scenarios in both 40k and FB, yet to be determined and FB battles will have a small amount of magical terrain

rather handily 6th April (Good Friday, which is a bank holiday) sees our annual 40k doubles tourney

As per usual, I'm not specifically forbidding any particular combination of forces within an army as I don't want anyone to feel that they can't make it because they can't find a compatible partner.

Hopefully players who have more than one army will sort something out that makes some fluffy sense

Composition

All armies must consist of two 1,000 point forces from a GW 40k codex currently in print, controlled by 2 players. All forces must fit within 1 standard force organisation chart. Codex army-wide rules will only apply to 1 force. Special/Named Characters are allowed.

Each force must have a nominated general which must be a single HQ model and which must be declared to the opponents during deployment.
