I have a form to fill in and send back. Pretty much require as follows.

BRGA Members (BRGA polo shirts would be goid too)
Fully painted 40k and fantasy armies mainly, possible blood bowl team as well.
No rule hitlers or competition players, its an exhibition day more than anything.  The words on the email were a lot stronger which made me laugh.

Anyone fancy this? Anyone fill the criteria?

I'll bring the form in on Tuesday and see if we can provide a team? It's a free days gaming in Portsmouth.

The Hammer Ashes 2013
Concept
The Solent Wargamers Club are going to host a one day team tournament for Solent based gaming groups.
Aim
To build stronger ties between Solent based wargaming groups and generally promote the hobby. It is not a ‘Win At All Costs’ tournament. The purpose of the event is not to win, but encourage more players into clubs through the ideals of fair play, integrity and openness.
Scope
All the involved gaming groups will be representing themselves to the wider community and it is my intent to have the GW Portsmouth manager bring players down from his store to witness the proceedings.
Limitations
1. Teams must all be of the same size.
2. All teams must be capable of playing all the game systems in the tournament.
3. Teams must all be capable of playing on the same day.
4. Game systems must follow the host FAQ’s.
5. Games systems must have an agreed upon composition system or no composition at all.
6. Team scoring system must be agreed upon.
If these limitations are not met the event cannot go ahead.

A multi choice tournament format form is included at Annex A.
Timings
The games will be run on a Sunday (date TBC) from 0930 to 1800 hours. The format for the event (see limitations and Annex A) will be decided no later than 16 Jul 13. Submissions should be submitted no later than 15 Jul 13.
Standards
If you participate in this event, you are representing your gaming group. So if anyone in your group acts like a dick, your group looks like a bunch of swinging banana’s.
Personalities
Tony Kirby is in charge of the running the event.

Lol sounds serious lol.
I am up for 40k and can partake in dread ball and dropzone commander if we need to make up numbers but maybe not all 3 on the same day lol.

Well up for 40k and it's superior parent: fantasy.

So really we're looking at having 2/3 on each team of each, 40k and its superior Fantasy.

This is the latest responce. Most other clubs are as flakey as us so here we are.

We’ve been having similar responses from  the other clubs, so we’ve changed the format.  How about, instead of a team tournament, we invite you down for a big Apocalypse on the 29thSeptember?  I can ask our BB players if they’d be interested in some matches as well?

Sadly I'm going to have to agree with Ben on this. Although I will be going if I can play Bloodbowl or (ideally) fantasy.
