Building a new army/armies

Haha some great advice here, for when you run out of painting steam!

To get painting fatigue does one not need to start painting first

(Admittedly Jimbo has made loads of progress on his WoC)

still waiting on my army book and i don't want to pay gw price. Might have to special order it from pirate bay (if they have it up on there) Any way, i have painted my lady (can't really call her a lord ) and built 20 spear men and 20 bow men. 25 spear men and 25 bow men to go and a bolt thrower. need to write a 400 point list though.

Hahaha, Chris, just got the new codex.....WoC now have access to a Chimera which is essentially a flying Hydra!

I suppose you'll be going for one of those then! The Hydra is great not purely for the damage it can deal its the damage it can deal for the points to pain ratio. It can be dealt with like any other beasty its just good value. I'll look forward to a rematch with your new booky wook.

Yay got all the dwarfs finished and have started work on the dark Eldar.

thats about as up to date as a mullet at a fashion show... Needless to say, not AT ALL lol!

When did mullets go out of fashion?

After much contemplation I have decided to plump for a new fantasy army. Gonna be aiming for Tomb Kings, once I've finished painting up my remaining WoC and Chaos Marines.

well I am planning on starting a Eldar corsair army.
The difference is I will be converting my good old fashioned 1st gen static guardians.

I am lucky in that I can use AutoCAD at work and have been playing around with creating my own take on the corsair jetpack, helmet and heavy weapons in 3D and have sent off for a 3D test print for scale and type.
If it works out I might see about getting a 3D mould printed so can cast my own in green stuff or print them all out in 3D but got to look at costs and so on. Early days but I am quite excited by it all.

Well I broke my own promise, I bought a box set of Skeleton warriors and a mega derped by buying an out of date TK army book.

All in all, a great start to my army!
